He was predeceased by: his father George Leon DeGrange, Jr.; his brother Kurt Patrick DeGrange; his grandparents, Albert, Arthemese Deruise Leon Dellande, George Sr. and Norma Warnick DeGrange; and his parents-in-law, Barbara Keyes Hanson and Elliott J Keyes, Jr. (Helen Bartholomew Keyes).

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Keyes DeGrange (Kathy); his siblings, Karen DeGrange Watkins, George Leon DeGrange, III (Lucinda) of Drake DeGrange, MD, Jane DeGrange Green (Julius), Floyd DeGrange, Nina DeGrange Robertson, Dianna DeGrange LeBan (Levon), Marianne DeGrange, Suzette DeGrange, Wayne, Wendell DeGrange (Erique) and Christie DeGrange Detiege, MD (Jacques); and his parents-in-law, Louis B. Keyes (Lisa) and Lynne Keyes Raphael. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Xavier University of Louisiana and St. Augustine High School in New Orleans.
