He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Jackson and Nell O'Lea McGarrahan Jackson; his siblings, Steven Jackson, Peggy Weldon, Mary Forsythe, Chester Jackson, Janice Byram and Robert Jackson; and his son-in-law Charles Wegman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Pearson, Sharon Galvan (David), Judith Wegman and Amy Jackson; his grandchildren, Brent, Brian Kaul (JoAnna), Michael Galvan, Rachel Jones, Becky Sherrill (Daniel), Taylor Muckelroy and Sofie Chupin; his great grandchildren, Walker Kaul, Kenzie, Jackson Kaul, Noah, Lyla Galvan, Jacob, Jordan Jones, Ryan Manganiello, Caleb, Emmalyn Sherrill and Jesse Aviles; and his brother-in-law Mike Richards (Cynthia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those desiring to make a charitable donation to the Missions Fund at First Colony Church of Christ or Lifeline Chaplaincy.
