It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Johnson Mann (Sugar Land, Texas), born in Longview, Texas, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edythe Mann and Truman Mann; and his brother James Mann. He is survived by: his wife Judy Donaldson Mann; his children, Jennifer Lee (Jeff) and James Cody (Jenn); and his grandchildren, Braydon Wiley, Shaylee Grace Pennington, Christopher James, Joshua Austin, Seth Nicholas Mann, Hailey and Jacob Brownson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center or Wounded Warrior Project.
