He is survived by: his wife Sandra Farris; his children, Johnny Farris, Patrick Farris (Sallie), Charlie Farris (Jamie) and Kaitlin Farris; his grandchildren, Annabelle, Evan and Cameron; his sister Susan Barefield (Wayne); and his sister-in-law Stephanie Farris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to one of the following organizations: the Wounded Warriors Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
