With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edward Coppens in Sugar Land, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry Coppens and Mary Catherine Gallagher Coppens; his wife Jackie Coppens; his children, Suzanne Fleishman (John), John S. Coppens (Kim), Michael Coppens and Erin Kellar (Brian); his grandchildren, Sarah, Jack, Luke Fleishman, Beau Kellar, Ashley Toliver (Derek) and Justin Connell; his great grandchildren, Ethan Connell and Robert Toliver; and his sisters, Suzanne Coppens-Carlson, Marianne Coppens and Cheryl Chism.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 'Mt. McSauba Improvement Fund' in our father's name.
