We announce the death of Johnathon Pierce Counts (Sugar Land, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 31. Johnathon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Charles Calvin and Jesse Crabtree; his uncle John Richard Counts; his cousin Elizabeth Calvin; and his great-grandparent LidaMae Doolittle.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert Counts and Laura Counts; his grandmothers, Edna Crabtree and Martha Calvin; and his aunts and uncles, Dallas (Brendan Hayes), Chuck (Connie Calvin), Larry (Sylvia Calvin), Mark (Teresa Calvin) and Darryl (Cyndie Gross).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morrow Chapel (15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pierce's memory to organizations that were meaningful to him and his family: A-T Children's Project, National Bleeding Disorders Foundation.
