He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert Lee Cooke and Emma Magdalene Williams-Cooke; and his sister Josephine Cooke-Steed. He is survived by: his child Baby Cooke; his wife Gillian; his daughters, Roberta Prater (Tracy) and Rebecca Cooke; his granddaughter Renie Deanda (Robert Deanda); his great grandchild Luke; his granddaughter Brette Cooke; his son Russell Cooke (Alesia); his grandchildren, Clayton Thomas and Andrea Cooke Holland (Jon Holland); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Pierce Thomas and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask for donations to be made in his name to South Main Baptist Church (4100 South Main Houston Texas 77002).
