It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Christopher Sapaugh in Sulphur Springs, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Sapaugh (Billy Dan) and Murrell Sapaugh (Melson); and his sister-in-law Becky Sapaugh. He is survived by : his wife Betty Ybarra; his children, Sarah Sapaugh (Matthew Kahlig), Lucas Sapaugh and Katie Sapaugh (Travis Woods); and his brothers, Scott (Mary), Steve and Tony. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hope Family Fellowship Church (434 Jefferson St E, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Formerly House of Blessings.
