It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Gambill of Sumner, Texas, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glen Gambill to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Gambill and Jimmie Lassiter Gambill. He is survived by: his daughter Gail Gambill King (Jeff) of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Ashlee Gambill Lingo (Justin) of Quitman, Daniel Glen Lawson Gambill (Katie) of Heath, Katherine MacConnell King of Denver, CO and Kendall Patterson King of Purcellville, VA; his daughter-in-law Teresa Ballard Gambill; his close friend Vickie George; his great grandchildren, Addison, Cade Lingo, Gabriel, Grant and Greta Gambill; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy Noland, Julie Kampfer, Rob Harty and Michael Gene Vaughan.
He was also a volunteer throughout his life, including with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for 26 years, contributing over 8, 600 hours of service.
Donations in honor of Glen may be made to Paris Junior College Annual Fund, Habitat for Humanity and Red River Valley Veterans Memorial.
