He is survived by: his children, Gaye Lynn Spencer Aday (Paul) and DeAnne Spencer Wood (Dale); his grandchildren, Christopher Bowers, Amy White and Bonnie Aday Pruitt (Ken); his great grandchildren, Steven Langley, Weslee Langley, Ava Langley, Ellie Pruitt and Sydney Pruitt; his siblings, Ray Spencer (Shirley), Fred Spencer (Carolyn Sue), Ralph Spencer, Ronnie Spencer (Inell), Lonnie Spencer (Margo), Faye Daniel, Katherine Siddle, Emma Dickerson (Donnie), Linda Gamble (Stanley Crawford) and Carolyn Miller; and his nephews, Billy Don Spencer, Steve Birdsong, Drew Miller, Jay Spencer, Jeffery Spencer, Jesse Farnsworth, Rick Miller and Stanley Spencer.
