With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Lynn Knowles of Sumner, Texas, who passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Knowles and Evelyn Knowles; his wife Triena Knowles; and his siblings, Sue, Faye, Pat and Alan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn, Ronnie, Jerry and Kenneth; his sons, Russell Knowles (Amy) and Randy Knowles (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Amanda, Kristen, Matthew, Josh and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Deacon and Truitt.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the building fund at Direct Baptist Church.
