With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Ann (Plainview) Steffens of Sundown, Texas, born in Slaton, Texas, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alphonse Steffens and Elizabeth Steffens; her sister Gladys Fortenberry; and her brother-in-law Chris Wethington. She is survived by : her siblings, Victor Steffens (Veronica) of Dimmitt, Val Steffens (Laura) of Olton, Richard Steffens of Apache Junction, Howard Steffens (Jaunean) of Lockney, David Steffens (Becky) of Plainview, Texas and Teresa Wethington of Nacogdoches. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
