He is survived by: his wife Linda Gothard (Chaffin); his daughter Gayla Deeann Mann; his stepson Larry Duane Johnson; and his children, Chris Vining (Christy), Jeff Vining (Linda) and Carrie Rickman (Richard). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
