It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Blaine Slaughter of Sweeny, Texas, born in Freeport, Texas, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Billy Slaughter and Jonell Slaughter; his brother Kirk Slaughter; and his father-in-law John C. Barclay. He is survived by : his wife Janet Slaughter; his children, Steven Slaughter (Kim), Aaron Slaughter (Chrissy), Brady Slaughter (Terri), Jon Lubke and Lindsay Constantine (Bobby); his brother Terry Slaughter; his mother-in-law Audrey Barclay; and his sisters-in-law, Denise McKay (Mark), Karen Hester (David) and Mary Anne Slaughter. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
