Billy Lee Ray Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Lee Ray of Sweeny, Texas, born in Palacios, Texas, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Richard "Dick" Ray, Sr.; his wife Gladys Mae Ray (Simpson) of Palacios; his son Terry Lee Ray (Cherry King) of Plantersville; and his brother Richard Ray, Jr.. He is survived by : his granddaughter Katherine Michelle Ray Peterson (Craig Peterson, Jr.) of Tacoma, WA.; his sister Betty Jo Rusk of Bay City; and his stepgrandsons, Robert Brandon Sipple of Lake Jackson and Tyson Lloyd Sipple (Sara Matula) of Victoria. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
