He is survived by : his parents, David Brents, Sr. (Leitha) of McAlester, Oklahoma and Andrea Johnson (Philip) of Sweeny; his grandparents, June and J. W. Barber of Sweeny; his children, Ayden Carter of West Columbia and Karmyn Carter of Sweeny; his siblings, Lindsi Calhoun of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Blake Calhoun of Tuttle and David Brents, Jr. of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and his close friend Cassandra Esquivel of Lake Jackson.
