With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lynn Marcum of Sweeny, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Lynn Marcum to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael "Stromer" Marcum and Ina Lou Marcum (Thompson); and his siblings, Robbie (Nancy), Eddie (Marsha) and Bobbie Taylor (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, James David (Candy) of Granbury, Deborah Lynn Gola (Kerry) of Hickory Creek and Rebekah Joyce Eddlemon (Aaron) of Sweeny; his grandchildren, Blake, Carsten, Braeton, Karley, Bella and Boone; and his sister Gloria Whaling (Mike) of Canton. He is also survived by extended family; and numerous nieces and nephews.
