He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Frank Manly Burttschell and Corma Matilda Burttschell; stepfather: Awalt Winters; stepbrothers: Awalt's 2 sons; wife: Lucile; brothers: Doug, Bobby, and Howard (Marie); sister: Helen; sister-in-law: Gloria; daughters: Jan Hill (Dennis), Judith Calhoun, and Jill Burttschell (Nenette); son-in-law: Rick Calhoun; grandchildren: Emily (Quenten), Brad (Summer), Jeff (Christine), Brent (Wendy), Rachel (Kolbe), and Marc (Lisa); caregivers: Wilbur Sandlin, Agatha Sanchez, and Stephanie Truitt; special family friends: Eric, Georgia, and Samuel; and numerous nieces, nephews, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (207 E 1st St, Sweeny, TX 77480). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Sweeny (207 E 1st St, Sweeny, TX 77480). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sweeny Cemetery (1654 N Main St, Sweeny, TX 77480).

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Frank's honor to the First Methodist Church of Sweeny, 207 E. First St., Sweeny, Tx 77480.
