He was predeceased by: his parents, George Homer and Lillie Carter Lantz; his former wife Brenda Sue Deslatte Lantz; and his siblings, Dorleise Thompson, Marjorie Lantz, Robert Lantz, Imogene Paris, James Lantz, Kenneth Lantz and Melvin Lantz.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Roddy Lantz; his daughters, Regina Kluttz (Les), Michelle Pyssen (Jay), Sherri Arrington (Will), Tammy Loyd (Mitch) and Debbie Frakey (Stephen); his grandchildren, Tiffany Binegar (Jeremy), Robby Pyssen (Andrea), Courtney Gryseels (Chas), Leslie Rowlett (Taylor), Mallory Worthy (Austin), Millard Loyd, Emilie Kluttz, Aubryn, Adalyn and Ashtyn Arrington; his great grandchildren, Madison, Audrey and Chase Binegar; his grandchildren, Sutton, Stone, Stryker Pyssen, Luke Gryseels, Jay Pyssen, Will Arrington, Mitch Loyd, Stephen Frakey and Lantz Pyssen; and also, Ellannie Tolley, Will Krebs, Woody Tolley, Millard Loyd, Taylor Rowlett, Jeremy Binegar, Chas Gryseels and Austin Worthy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and an honorary granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel (98 Dixie Dr, Lake Jackson, TX 77566). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Shores Church (6303 Farm to Market Rd 1459, Sweeny, TX 77480).
