He was predeceased by: his parents, Moritz "Blackie" Morris and Edna Chambers Morris; his siblings, Spike Kurts, Chris Kurtz, Bill Kurtz and Jessie Gillam (Josh Gillam); his parents-in-law, Oscar and Nina Collins; his siblings-in-law, Beth Decou, Martha Doolen and Oscar Collins; his son-in-law Jeffrey Frankum; and his friends, Jolly and Gloria Hudgeons.

He is survived by: his wife Beckie Morris; his daughters, Marla (Chris Baty) and Ginia Lynn Frankum (Jason Huber); and his grandchildren, Meagan Baty, Matthew, Kat Baty of Colorado, Noah Wyman, Trayson and Leathan Huber.
