It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mother Sadie Alice Hendricks of Sweeny, Texas, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, L. Hearl Williams and Emma Williams; her husband Thomas Cleveland Hendricks Jr.; and her siblings, Clara Gibson, Erma Lee Grovey, Louise Williams, Baby Williams, Maranda Williams, Ella Mae Woodard, Lydia Bolden and H. C. Williams.

She is survived by : her children, Clyde Hendricks of Sweeny, Roland Hendricks (Jean) of Lake Jackson, Marcella Myles (Willie) of Sweeny and Hallie Watson of Montgomery; and her goddaughter Nicole McGowan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
