It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roosevelt Bell of Sweeny, Texas, born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In bidding Roosevelt adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Roosevelt once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors he painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while he may have departed from this earthly realm, his spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lexi Bell, Sr. and Roxie Hanks Bell.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Viola Funeral Home (205 N Broad St, West Columbia, TX 77486). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Run Baptist Church (365 N 16th St, West Columbia, TX 77486).
