He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Rick Hardin (Cecil C. Woods) and Mary Helen Woods; his sister Carol Ann Roberts; his sister-in-law Katy Denise Lassiter; and his mother-in-law Linda May Head.

He is survived by: his wife Kristi B. Hardin; his children, William, Kolten and Tarin (Daniel Watson); his grandchildren, Kameron, Kyle, Kyia and Darrell; his father-in-law Clovis Head of Sweetwater; and his siblings, Cecil C. Woods II (Ann) of Rhome, Texas, Ross Woods (Cindy) of Lumberton, Mississippi, Angela Owens (Mike) of Greenwood, Indiana and John Woods of Medford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for support in helping provide for Kolten's future through a trust being established in his honor.
