She is survived by: her brother Travis Smith (Emily) of Texas City; her children, Reggie Clark of Los Angels, CA, Gilda Gerst of Plano, TX and Gilbert Gerst Jr. (Jacquelyn) of Dallas, TX; her aunt Dorothy Ward (Charles) of Los Angeles, CA; her nieces, Donna Kaye Todd and Olivia Daugherty; her sister Audria Hammond of Abilene, TX; and her grandchildren, Derrick Gerst (Samone), William Gerst, Crayton Gerst and Gianna Clyke. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
