He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Johannes Vogt and Erma Ruth Vogt (Wedel); his wife Isabelle Vogt; and his sister Jacqueline Behr. He is survived by: his children, Carol Vanecek (Mark) and Bryan Vogt (Tricia); his grandchildren, Ashley Houchin (Adam), Allison Stamport (Dakota), Halie Harrison (Hunter) and Brendon Vogt (Kaitlyn); his great grandchildren, Hudson Houchin, Madeline Houchin, Laney Vogt and Sutton Stamport; and his sister Ethel Huxman. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Taft (420 Green Ave, Taft, TX 78390). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Portland, TX 78374).
