She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Vanek; and her son Leroy Vanek. She is survived by: her children, Michael Vanek, Lisa Morris (Nick) and Patricia Vanek; her grandchildren, Alicia, Cody, Elizabeth, Allison and Christopher; and her sister-in-law Lillie Vanek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Home (807 Carlos G Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574). A rosary was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (408 Washburn St, Taylor, TX 76574).
