He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Lawson and Florence Vitevitch Lawson; and his niece Christine Coffman. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark Lawson, Ann Coffman, Rita England (Stephen), Jane Whitlock (Roy) and Steve Lawson; his nieces and nephews, Shanha Goodwyn, Katherine Coffman, Samuel Whitlock and Clarissa Whitlock; and his cousin Carl P. Vitevitch of New York.
