He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Scott Harris Sr. and Lydia Kern Harris; his sisters, Emma Jean Carver and Beverly Milzarek; and his children, Michael Ray, Melanie Kay and Tamara Lynn.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, David Harris of Taylor and Cathy Wernli (Kevin) of Coupland; and his granddaughter Claire Wernli of Coupland.
