She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Batla and Maggie Batla; her spouse E. J. Strmiska; and her brother Kenneth. She is survived by: her children, Debra Cavanaugh (Jimmy), Greg Strmiska (Amanda), John Strmiska (Jackie McCoy), Becky Pekar (Lenard) and Mona Krieg (Kevin); her grandchildren, Steven Strmiska (Emily), Keith Strmiska, Garrett Pekar, Corey Strmiska (Megan), Caitlin Scruggs (Kory), Lauren Fellows (Jason), Kole Krieg, Benjamin Strmiska, Blake Strmiska, Addie Schneider and Avery Parra; and her great grandchildren, Hudson, Blakely, Kai, Quinn, Lincoln, Laramie, Collette, Emmalyn, Owen and Wyatt.
