He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Darden; his brothers, Robert Darden and Mark Sims; and his stepfather A. C. Cleveland. He is survived by: his mother Levera Cleveland (Granger); and his brothers, Daniel Sims, Cottie Sims (Granger) and Raymond Wilson (Yolanda) of Manor. He is also survived by four aunts; two nephews; four great nieces and three great nephews.
