Shirley Ging Townsend Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ging Townsend of Taylor, Texas, born in Coupland, Texas, who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ging and Ella Goetz Ging; her husband Bill Townsend; her parents-in-law, Bennie and Gladys Townsend; her brothers, Glen Roy Ging and Curtis Ging; and her brother-in-law Bobby Townsend.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hehmann (Randy) and Kenneth Townsend (Lisa); her grandchildren, Dawn Hirsch (Troy), Keith Hehmann (Ashlee), Chelsea Thompson (Dustin Hendrick) and Zachary Thompson; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Stuckly, Bryson Stuckly, Payton Hehmann, Hayden Hehmann, Presley Hirsch, Kaydence Epperson and Gage Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Tracie Ging, Dorothy Ging and Gladys Townsend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Peter's Church of Coupland.
