He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Joyce Parks; and his grandson Chad. He is survived by: his close friend Hermania Vitek of Taylor; his sons, Mike (Leslie) of Lubbock, Brad (Belinda) of Taylor and Doug (Dai) of Austin; and his grandchildren, Kirk (Ashley), Amanda (Jason) and Megan. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
