She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Whitten; her children, David Whitten and Carla Whitten; her parents, Jesse Inderman and Thelma Inderman; and her siblings, Olen Inderman, Lorene Inderman Veselka and Laurell Inderman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Whitten Norton (Rodney) of Fairfield and Kristi Whitten Ridge (Rickey) of Wortham; her grandchildren, Rhianna Griffin (Chris), Dylan White, Trent Ridge, Blake Ridge and Emily Whitten; and her great grandchildren, Keller Griffin, Dean Beckett-Ridge and Lillyan Whitten. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
