He is survived by: his children, Susan Hohertz (Robert) and Jeffrey Ellis (Benny); his siblings, Jerry Carter, Lyndell Carter (Linda), Wanda Hall and Sible Elliot; his daughter-in-law Janet Ellis; and his grandchildren, Amber, Natasha, Shawna, Zachary, Jordon, Brandon, Jamie, Patrick, Jeremy and Phillip. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and many beloved friends.
