She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawson Miller and Ruby Miller; her husband Wayland Oakes; her son-in-law Mark Hancock; and her brothers-in-law, Craig Oakes, Tommy Baker, Waydell Reynolds and Joe Rhea.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Oakes Hancock, Deborah Oakes Evans (Michael), Michele Oakes Gonzales (Jeff) and Melinda Oakes Black (Steve); her grandchildren, Terry Hancock (Makenzie), Travis Hancock, Trey Hancock, Brian Evans (Amy), J. W. Gonzales (Kelsey), Cody Gonzales (Megan), Ben Black (Brianne) and Cory Black; her great grandchildren, Hazel Hancock, Aaron Evans, Brandt Evans, Preston Gonzales, Lawson Gonzales, Aubri Black, Maxi Ruth Black and Brentley Gonzales; her brother Gary Miller; her sisters-in-law, Gerrie Baker, Darlene Reynolds, Kathy Rhea (Don Schill) and Melodye Oakes; and her caregivers, Leslie Cook and Olga Evans.
