He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Hayes Williams, Sr. and Mary Lena Williams; his siblings, Emma Jane Williams, Mary Elwanda Sims (Williams), Gaylon Clovis Williams (Cody), Paul Ray Williams, Carl Lee Williams, Elbert Hayes Williams Jr., Bobbie Reese Williams and Ovid Kellus Williams (Kelly); his brother-in-law Hendon Simms; and his nephews, Wade Williams and Andrew J. Williams.

He is survived by: his sister Gerry Jean Simms of Gainesville, Florida; his siblings-in-law, Billie Marie Williams (Yielding) of Lubbock, Claudette Williams (Morton) of San Antonio, Esther Williams (Abshier) of Magnolia and Donald Sims of Groesbeck; and his cousins, Don Turner of Teague and Ken Turner of Jewett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
