He was predeceased by: his parents, I. W. "Day" Whitaker and Wenonah Walker "Honey" Whitaker of Donie, Texas.; his grandparents, L. R., Roxie Hall Whitaker, Leonard and Ida Walker; his son-in-law Greg Williams; and his in-laws, Jim and Margaret Alderman.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Whitaker; his children, Traci Ann Williams and Wade Walker Whitaker (Kari Whitaker); his grandchildren, Jordan Williams (Sydney Williams) and Hannah Day Williams (Chandler Bates); his brother Wayne Whitaker (Karen Whitaker); and his brother-in-law Roger Alderman (Margie Alderman). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bowers Funeral Home (900 US Hwy 84 W, Teague, TX 75860). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
