John Lee Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 21, 2021, at the age of 91, John Lee Smith (Teague, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Smith and Estelle Smith; his parents-in-law, Ben and Evelyn McKinley; and his granddaughter Desiraye Jaylyn Whitlow.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Smith of Mexia; his children, Robert Lane Smith (Dianna), Donnie Jo Wilson (Rick Alan), DonIvian Lee Smith (Amanda) and Deleene Bailey (Tom); his grandchildren, Kristy Nicole Waterman (Matthew), Brandin Smith (Shawna), Samantha Mari Smith (Sean Michael), Shawn Austin Smith (Holly), Seth Andrew Smith (Katie), Bradlee Raye Whitlow (Briana) and Hanna Elizabeth Bailey; and his great grandchildren, David Waterman, Henry Waterman, Paytin Smith, Colton Smith, Kenzie Smith, Michael Drake Smith, Kody Smith, Jace Lee Smith, Emilia Smith, Lila Smith, Brayden Whitlow, Brylan Whitlow and Bradix Whitlow.
