It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nita Jean Rose (Teague, Texas), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nita leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Albright and Lillie Mae Albright; her husband Gerald Rose, Sr.; and her grandsons, Clinton Wayne Oney and Austin Lynn Oney.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Dean Rose, Jr. (Kristi) of Teague, Robert Oney (Susan) of Cleveland, Don Oney of Wharton and Ronda Horak of Fairfield. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
