Patsy Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2025, at the age of 79, Patsy Cox of Tell, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hammer and Bonnie Faye Hammer (Adams); and her husband Mike Cox. She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Whiteman of Mesquite and Paul Hammer of Clarksville; her children, Christi (Greg) of Gilmer and Chad (Holly) of Tell; her grandchildren, Kase Smith (Lauren) of Gilmer, Kooper Smith (Ashlin) of Gilmer and Colee Cox of Tell; and her great grandchild Porter Smith of Gilmer.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (307 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tell Baptist Cemetery.
