He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Horn and Jeanette Horn. He is survived by: his children, Nicholas Alan Horn (Melissa), Sara Paradoski (Mitchell), Meg Dobson (Andrew) and Matt Mobley (Terri); his grandchildren, Jackson, Ryder, Charlotte Hope, Hayden, Caroline and Jameson; his siblings, Alma Joyce Moreno, Pamela Ann Rice and William Paul Horn; and his parents-in-law, Jerry and Madiene Gibson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Temple (8015 W Adams Ave, Temple, TX 76502).
Those wishing to honor Alan may give memorials to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
