She is survived by: her spouse Freddie Strickland; her children, Mari Rainey, John Rainey (Diane), Vera Longoria (Robert) and Fred Strickland Jr. (Shayre); and her grandchildren, Joshua Daniell, Justin Daniell, Courtney Sledge (Cody), Seth Rainey, Jordan Longoria (Tara), Derek Longoria (Anna), Breanne Jones, Demi Henry (Joseph), Nathan Strickland and Neileigh Strickland (Hayden McCallister). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Victory Life Church (901 C C Woodson Rd, Early, TX 76802). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
