He is survived by: his wife Judy Thompson; his sisters, Betty Sue Mathis and Bonnie Brown Johnson; his children, Molly Brown Thompson (Bruce) and Dr. Bruce Todd Thompson (Ali); his grandchildren, Mady Rippey, Abby Rippey, Livy Rippey, McKenna Thompson Taggart and Zane Thompson; and his great grandchild Walker Brown DeYoung.
