He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl H. Cort and Frances Cort. He is survived by: his wife Hilde Cort of Temple; his children, Scot Cort of Iowa and Karen McCrary of Missouri; his stepson Lance Graves (Mary) of Nebraska; his grandchildren, Taylor Cort (Jamie), Mackenzie Pethod (Justin), Ashlie McCrary, Hailie O'Connor (Austin), Adam Graves, Austin Graves and Amanda Graves; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Cort, Telea Cort, Raelyn Darnell, Annie Pethod and Willie Pethod.
