He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Millard Tacker Sr. and Edie Martha Tacker (Zost); his siblings, Albert Millard Tacker Jr. and Pinky Ann Erskine; and his granddaughter Mckenzi Ryan.

He is survived by: his son Brian "Scott" Tacker; his wife Sue Odenbach Tacker; his former wife Gayle Robertson; his children, Anthony Millard Tacker, Amanda Marie Tacker-Johansson and Adam Michael Tacker; and his stepchildren, Kirk Ryan, Lyn Hailey, Kay Bell and Neal Ryan. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
