He is survived by: his daughters, Greenli and Stella VanZandt; his mother Becky VanZandt (Tim); and his siblings, Dustin VanZandt, Steven VanZandt (Jackie), Jay VanZandt (Janie), Cole VanZandt Rachelle VanZandt (Cheyenne) and Brianne Babb. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fry-Smith Funeral Home (502 Kent Ave, Tuscola, TX 79562). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1002 Litel St, Buffalo Gap, TX 79508). A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery (3226 FM 89, Buffalo Gap, TX 79508).
