With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Ty Jackson of Temple, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his father David S. Jackson (Mother Latasha R. Jackson); his siblings, Tristan Jackson, Briaunna Flores (Amarndo) and Alexis McCollum; his nieces, Lyla Knight and Isabella Flores; his grandparents, David G. Jackson, Debbie "Ez" Jackson, Hydi Southerland and Joyce Roberts; and his girlfriend Sadie Grote. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home (2525 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Vista Community Church (7051 Stonehollow, Temple, TX 76502). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rest Haven Cemetery.
