He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Warren and Gertrude Warren (Rawlings); his wife Joyce Delores Warren; and his son-in-law Mike Bramlett. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Goldman (Mark) of Temple, Susan Bramlett of Temple and Cindy Holloway (Bobby) of Belton; and his grandchildren, Melanie, Kyle, Allison, Casey, Stephen, Greg, Geoff, Ryan and Racquel.
The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to Our Hospice House 5253 Toll Bridge Rd. Belton, Texas 76513 or to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2407 W. Ave P Temple, Texas 76504, in honor of Derl's legacy of faith and service.
