She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Fay Metcalf Davis; her husband Gordon Randolph Nolen; and her siblings, Pat Davis Campbell, Hugh Frank Davis and Charles Hilton Davis.
She is survived by: her son Randy (Jan) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; her grandchildren, Michael, Kaleigh, Kelsey and Sean Nolen; her stepgrandsons, Patrick Drake (Erika) and Phillip Drake; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sophia, Maya and Elliot Drake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Laurel Land Funeral Home (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Laurel Land Memorial Park (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (102 N 2nd St, Temple, TX 76501).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Methodist Church of Temple, TX or your charity of choice in honor of Jean Nolen.
