It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary L. Locklin of Temple, Texas, born in Cameron, Texas, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Locklin and Ernie Locklin; and his brother Dennis Locklin. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte of Temple; his children, Jason Locklin (Anna) of Temple, Jake Locklin (Tina) of Troy and Jen Hoelscher (Cory) of Troy; his grandchildren, Carter, Lillie, Holden, Hudson Locklin, Ava, Morgan, Laila Locklin, Emersyn and Hazel Hoelscher; and his sister Cheryl Dixon (Charles).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Soldiers Kids Involved in Fishing Fun (S.K.I.F.F.), P.O. Box 10504 Austin, Texas 78766.
